Repeat this process until you have made your way all the way down the socket and you are happy with the tassel. Finish up by gluing a strip around the messy end of your ribbon. This will make it look much cleaner.

Firecracker Lights
Cute little lights that look like fireworks. Perfect for a backyard summer gathering, maybe even in red, white and blue for July 4th. Start here by stacking together several 6" strips of  tissue paper. Cut into them to make the fringe, just be careful not to cut too far, try to leave about an inch of uncut paper. After you have cut all the strips you will need it is time to start gluing. Place a little ring of glue at the top and bottom if the mini light socket, take one strip of tissue paper and apply it securely to the glue. After you have given just  second to dry, start pulling the fringe apart, to fluff it. This will make it look much more like a little lit firecracker.

Flower Ribbon Lights
Perfect for a little garden party or an outdoor tea party. You can pick ribbon in any size, pattern or color. Cut the ribbon into 7" strips and round the corners. use your hot glue to make a ring around the light socket, followed by loosely wrapping your ribbon strips around along the glue line. Be sure not to get your ribbon too tight, you want it too look like a blooming flower. Pinch down the bottom and tie a little green ribbon around it, like the leaves at the base of flowers.

Pinata Light Strings
These little light strings are so cute and festive for an outdoor fiesta or even a fun little summer party inside. Colorful and so simple to make. These will be made much like the firecracker lights. Stack several 6" stips of tissue paper together and cut into it to make fringe. Put several spots of hot glue directly on the wire and sockets of your globe lights, secure your tissue paper fringe to the lights. Be sure to alternate colors. Then hang them up and enjoy.

These sweet little lights are great for any neutral decor, inside or outside. Choose your vellum, pattern or solid colored. Cut 1" strips. Place two of your strips under your globe bulb, making an X. bring the ends around to a round globe shape, tape or staple them where they meet so they won't move. Take two more strips and do the same thing. Now, take your hot glue and attach them to the base of your globe light's socket. Repeat with all your lights.

Cut your chosen ribbon in 6" strips and place a small dab of hot glue on each end of the strips. Press them onto the mini light string in between each bulb, one on the front of the wire and the other end on the back side of the wire. Repeat this process, with each ribbon intersecting. So simple and fun.

Vellum Cone Lights
These are more of a whimsical and fun little light string. Start by drawing out a baseball diamond shape on your sheets of vellum. the top line should be about 3" and the sides about 6".
